Water gardens and Koi ponds are relatively new to most people in the U.S., but have thrived for hundreds of years in Europe and Asia.

Anyone who has toured the countryside in England has to admire the many beautiful water gardens adorning every village and countryside home.

Numerous beautiful colors of flowering water plants are available in day blooming and night blooming varieties and in many sizes to fit the needs of every size pond from a small tub garden to a large agricultural pond. Plants provide protection for fish and other aquatic life, and help reduce algae bloom and evaporation.

Water gardening is low maintenance gardening and requires less water than a lawn of equal size. Cool and refreshing sounds of splashing water, or the serenity of calm, still water make the enjoyment well worth the little time one takes to care for the beautiful landscape of a water garden.

With the development of flexible pond liners, constructing a pond has become affordable.  Pond liners conform to the shape of the pond whether it is in the ground or above, or both. They are easy to install and have a long life.

The Buffalo Soldiers

As found in Home

Join us for a fun and educational experience as the Buffalo Soldiers give a historical account of their service throughout many US wars. The Native Americans were the first to come up with the name "buffalo soldier;" referring to a regiment of all African- American soldiers. Some say it was for the fierce fighting ability of the 10th cavalry, others say it was because of their dark curly hair, which resembled a buffalo’s coat. The Buffalo Soldiers have agreed to do a short presentation on Saturday, Oct 22nd. They will have a booth all day, talking about their history and raising funds for a local Buffalo Soldiers’ Museum. Come on out and learn about an important part of American History, you won’t regret it.

Please note! Shipping will be added to all orders.
